Winter is on its way out and the nice weather is right around the corner. Spring cleaning begins and we start getting active after a long winter. We however are not the only ones becoming more active. Ant colonies start to come to life and we may notice high activity in our homes , especially in the kitchen. More than 10 a day may indicate an infestation and a nest in close proximity. What do we do? The best thing would be to call a professional and have him take a look. Remember carpenter ants do not eat wood but hollow it out for there nests.
